Processing technology: wire drawing

For many people who don’t understand, the term wire drawing may be unfamiliar, but I believe that most people have seen common products made of Brushing  in their lives. Such as: aluminum product warm water bottle, aluminum product bowl, aluminum product window, etc. are all processed by drawing process.

What is wire drawing ？

The wire drawing process is a metal processing process. In metal pressure processing, the metal is forced through the die under the action of external force, the metal cross-sectional area is compressed, and the technical processing method of obtaining the required shape and size of the cross-sectional area is called metal drawing process.

Brushing is the process of repeatedly scraping aluminum out of lines with sandpaper.Brushing can be divided into straightbrushing, chaoticbrushing, swirlingbrushing, and threadbrushing.It can clearly show every tiny wire mark, so that the metal matte shines with fine hair luster, and the product has a sense of fashion and technology.

The wire drawing treatment on the surface of the hand board is a surface treatment method that forms lines on the surface of the workpiece by grinding the product, which has a decorative effect.

drawing can be made into straight, random, thread, corrugated and swirl according to customer’s decorative needs. At present, the common and mature methods include flat pressing abrasive belt , non-woven roller , wide abrasive belt and centerless grinding .
