Quality Assurance
– We Inspect Every Part

Good parts aren’t just machined well—they’re measured well. We inspect every critical feature on every part before it ships. If you need documentation, we provide full dimensional reports, material certs, and photos.

TOOL

Our Inspection Equipment

We maintain a full set of calibrated inspection tools. Nothing fancy—just reliable, regularly checked equipment that gets the job done.

Digital Calipers

Quick checks of outside dimensions, depths

Micrometers

Precise measurement of shafts, thicknesses

Height Gauge

Step heights, hole locations

Granite Surface Plate

Flatness reference for height measurements

Pin Gauges

Hole diameters, Go/No‑Go checks

Thread Gauges

Internal and external thread verification

2D Vision Comparator

Profile inspection, radii, angles, complex shapes

Coating Thickness Gauge

Anodizing and plating thickness measurement

All inspection tools are calibrated annually (or more frequently) with traceable standards. Calibration records available on request.

Standard

Inspection Standards – ISO 2768

For parts without specific tolerances on the drawing, we default to ISO 2768 – the international standard for general tolerances.

You can choose between two classes
Class Description Typical Use
ISO 2768‑m Medium tolerance (wider) General engineering, non‑critical fits
ISO 2768‑f Fine tolerance (tighter) Precision assemblies, mating parts

If your drawing specifies tolerances (e.g., ±0.01mm), we follow those instead. If you don’t specify, we apply ISO 2768‑m by default.

Our Quality Process

First‑Article Inspection (FAI)

When we run a new part, we check the first piece completely. If it passes, we proceed. If not, we adjust.

In‑Process Checks

Operators measure critical features during machining. This catches drift before parts are finished.

Final Inspection

Every part is checked against the drawing. We verify: All critical dimensions ,Surface finish,Thread fit (if applicable),Visual appearance (burrs, scratches, marks)

Your questions answered

Common questions

We inspect 100% of critical dimensions on every part. For non‑critical dimensions, we use sampling per AQL standards (unless you specify otherwise).

Yes. Just note “full report required” on your PO. We’ll measure and record every dimension on the drawing.

We don’t ship non‑conforming parts. We’ll contact you with the discrepancy and work out a solution—rework, scrap, or acceptance with deviation.

Add notes to your drawing or PO. Examples:

  • “Inspect all dimensions, provide full report.”

  • “Tolerance per ISO 2768‑f.”

  • “Require material certs.”
